What is a Registered Agent?
There are over 50 Commercial Registered Agents in the state of Montana, all of whom contribute to the state's revenue through vehicle and business fees.
A Registered Agent (or RA) is a person or company chosen by a business — like a corporation, LLC, or partnership — to receive important paperwork on its behalf. An RA must legally have a physical address in the state where the business was formed (in this case, Montana).
In Montana, an RA can also represent the business at the Department of Motor Vehicles (or in Montana, the local MVD) to facilitate vehicle registrations. Many of Montana’s registered agents offer this service in addition to other business needs. These vehicle registration services drive much of the revenue that the industry generates for the state.
“Our core values of integrity and honesty are what we strive to embody every day. These values and our work ethic are what set us apart and what make us proud to serve our customers and generate revenue for our state."
